Hello Dodos! It has been a long time since my last words. But I don't forget old friends. Just read about the fire tragedy in Athens and I had to express how sorry I am for your country and people. Photos and death toll look just like what happened in Portugal one year ago. I am so sad to learn that it happened again. It's of no importance that's miles away. In fact, I feel so close to Greece, more than to Spain, that's our neighbor. I hope you, family and friends are ok. Very sad days, it will take more time to heal than our minds can be at peace with. I also read a translation of a Greek newspaper article and questions about what happened are just like ours. One can't understand how such a thing could happen. But year after year everything remains the same as our Government delegates on luck to care for our faith...The weather has been merciful with us this year. Low temperatures for July. We live with the fear since what happened in Pedrogão fires.
belinha fernandes Yes, it's been completely horrifying, and it did make me think of Portugal last year right from the beginning - it seems there is a lot in common. I'm not personally affected, thankfully, and neither is anyone I am close to, but regardless you are still stuck waiting for more news of what's going on. It's nice to see you back though, even if the occasion is sad :-)
